Teri Wilkins

Life-long learner. Educator. Thinker.

I am very pleased to commend Teresa Wilkins, as both a professional educator and an outstandingly good person. I have worked with Teri as a fellow high school teacher, and she has also been my instructor in a graduate level technology course.... Articulate, innovative, and dedicated, she has high expectations of her students, and she supports them in achieving those expectations. Her students - both adults and teens - love her!

Jelly Bean Math

I saw a tweet today that mentioned “Jelly Bean Math” and thought about all of the great ideas and resources I find on Twitter. Even though tonight’s #edchat was about parent/teacher communication, it led to all kinds of paths to examine. I am always amazed at the collaboration and cheerful sharing among the participating educators. Student engagement is one of the constant themes. Jelly beans certainly draw me in!
